With a great heritage in metalworking, MSC has been at the forefront of industrial supply since 2006. Our in-house engineering team ensures we work with suppliers who are industry innovators, so we can provide our customers with the best possible service.
MSC provides access to more than 120,000 products including Metalworking, Industrial Consumables and PPE. In-stock items are available for next-day delivery, or if you are near our warehouse in Wednesbury, you can pick up your items in just 20 minutes.
Our History
Sid Jacobson began selling cutting tools from the trunk of his car in New York in 1941. He operated with integrity, respect and a commitment to each customer. He was a leader whose values and passion for excellence are the foundation of what has become MSC Industrial Supply Co. From being the first to use technology in distribution to expanding into multiple product categories to offering critical expertise beyond the products, our company has grown into a $3.2 billion business. With more than 80 years of rapid growth and change, we remain committed to delivering the products and services that help our customers run even better businesses.
MSC UK was established in 2006 when MSC acquired J&L Industrial Supply. Today, we are based in Wednesbury, West Midlands, with a team of around 250 associates, of which 40% of them have worked with us for over five years.
With a culture of stability and continuity in our teams, we take pride in our work for our customers. From rethinking, retooling, and optimising your tools and processes, we can help you make business improvements that directly impact your bottom line.
