Kyocera SGS Precision Tools (KSPT) is a global ISC-certified manufacturer of industry-leading solid carbide cutting tools. KSPT is proud to have pioneered some of the world's most advanced cutting tool technologies, resulting from rigorous product, coating and material testing within its Global Innovation Centre.

SGS have manufacturing sites in the United States and the United Kingdom, and KSPT European headquarters are based in Wokingham, Berkshire, UK. Their European office specialises in bespoke and modified tooling, which means they find design tooling solutions to optimise your manufacturing performance.

In 2016, Kyocera merged with SGS Precision Tools. The merger has ultimately been a huge success between the two companies, sharing the same focus on client service.  They have a global network of technical sales representatives and industrial distributors that sell in more than 60 countries.

SGS offer tools that, quite simply, do the job better and at greater machining efficiencies. All their tools – catalogue, modified and specials are made from solid carbide. Carbide material enables faster speeds and feeds. It also retains its hardness at higher temperatures, so it can be worked harder to cut faster with less wear.
