Iscar SNMG-EM-R Inserts

Double-sided turning insert with a tough submicron substrate, PVD coated. Suitable for low-to-medium cutting speeds. Developed for machining of heat resistant alloys, austenitic stainless steel and hard steel. Square insert with 4 cutting edges (2 on each side) and truncated radii which facilitate heat transfer. Sharp cutting edge with a positive 16° chip former rake angle. Used for machining high temperature alloys at ap<3mm.
