Iscar SNMG120408-EM-M IC806 ISO Turning Insert

Double-sided turning insert with a hard submicron grain size substrate with a PVD coating and special SUMOTEC surface treatment. Excellent for machining high temperature alloys and Titanium alloys, at moderate to relatively high cutting speeds. Features high wear resistance and plastic deformation durability. Square insert with 4 cutting edges (2 on each side) and truncated radii which facilitate heat transfer. Sharp cutting edge with a positive 16° chip former rake angle. Used for machining high temperature alloys at ap<3mm.
