ILOCUT 486 chlorinated neat cutting oil for general machining, grinding, broaching and gear cutting of high alloyed steels and non-ferrous metals. A chlorinated, heavy metal free neat cutting oil formulated with highly refined base oil and a combination of lubricity and extreme pressure (EP) additives to help optimise machining performance. It can be used for general machining, grinding, broaching and gear cutting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals including alloy steel. Ilocut 486 does not contain active sulphur and is compatible with yellow metals. Multi-metal machining using superior additive technology provides opportunity for product consolidation. Advanced additive technology gives high extreme pressure (EP) lubricity properties and lowers production costs through extended tool life.
