Vargus range of internal and external thread milling inserts for compatible with Vargus TMC thread milling bodies. This Vargus system primary application is to produce internal and external threads and utilising the capabilty of a CNC milling machines using helical interpolation. These inserts offer several advantages and including increased productivity due to higher cutting speeds and the use of multi tooth carbide inserts and as well as reduced tooling costs compared to traditional taps and dies. They are suitable for a wide range of thread profiles and pitches and materials. The VBX grade is a TiCN coated carbide grade and primarily suitable for steels and general use. The VTX grade is a TiAlN coated carbide grade and primarily suitable for stainless steels.
