Product Information
Metric shim is used on the second (or additional) pass simply compensates for the amount of material removed on the first pass and allows us to produce a short keyway broach that will fit under most any arbour press. The simplest and most economical way to cut it is with the standard keyway broach, bushing and shim under a shop arbour press.
