Product Information
Turning insert with a hard submicron grain size substrate with PVD coating and a special SUMOTEC surface treatment. Suitable for machining steel, alloy steel, austenitic stainless steel, high temperature alloys and hard steel at moderate to relatively high cutting speeds under stable conditions. Features high wear resistance and plastic deformation durability. Used for semi-finish and finishing applications on soft materials and exotic alloys. Positive rake angle, low cutting forces.
