Turning insert with advanced PVD AlTiN coating over a very deformation resistant unalloyed carbide substrate. The new and improved coating enables speeds to be increased by 50 to 100 percent. The KC5010 grade is ideal for finishing to general machining of most workpiece materials at higher speeds. Excellent for machining most steel, stainless steel, cast irons, non-ferrous materials and super alloys under stable conditions. It also performs well machining hardened and short chipping materials. Kenloc insert is the first choice for general machining of all materials on medium to large lathes. Kenloc inserts offer the best economy for high metal removal rates. available in flat top and chip control geometries with both moulded and ground peripheries. Suitable for all workpiece materials.
