In your previous Priority Club blog post, we covered using pre-part probing to set up your work datum, including an automated option for this - Renishaw’s Machine Probe.
This way of setting up your work piece coordinate is the safest and most accurate.
The process can be added to your part program and be fully automated, eliminating human error, as the system updates the Work Co-ordinate System (WCS) automatically measuring to sub-micron measurements.
