Pryor 2.5mm Automatic Numbering Head

Automatic numbering head is used with a percussion impact press and allow fast, accurate and consecutive serial numbering of parts with the minimum of effort. The numbering sequence is consecutive when the trip lever is depressed, otherwise a constant inscription is marked. Standard wheels have sharp faced characters engraved with 0-9 (inclusive). First six wheels actuate automatically, when trip lever is depressed. Wheels seven and eight are actuated manually with a Bodkin Indexing Tool. Tell-tale characters in the wheel grooves are indicated to show the actual characters in the marking position - particularly helpful when a Numbering Head is used in a Press.
