Seco 150.10-3N-14 HX Parting Off Insert

Parting-off insert in neutral version N are first choice since they normally achieve increased tool life, better chip control, high surface quality and allow higher cutting data compared to the handed (R-/L-) version. The R-/L insert has a setting angle of 6° in order to eliminate burrs and minimize the parting-off pip left on the workpiece. To reduce pip size with N-insert, use the smallest width possible. The correct centre height is another major factor to avoid pips (control to ±0.1mm).
