Ideal for use on high carbon, high chrome, high speed steels, such as M-2, M-3, M-7 and T16; die steels, such as D2, D3, HB, A&O; alloy steels (harder than 50Rc); nickel and cobalt base super alloys; titanium and stainless steels
Mandrels are supplied in coarse grit 80/120, 2-1/4 in Overall length.
Features & Benefits:
• Use for the internal grinding of glass, ferro-ceramic, ceramic, cemented carbides and other hard and abrasive materials
• The hardened steel shank allows a fast, constant cutting action with little deflection enabling you to grind difficult applications
• Tolerance on hardened steel shank: +.000 -.0006
• Maximum recommended grinding speed for hardened die steel is 1000 SFPM
• Carbides should be ground at a maximum of 2400 SFPM
